Super Typhoon & Recovery

Update Letter from Pastor Manny Vergara of the Philippines:

Dear Bro Huggins,
The Lord is good and His mercy abide with His people.
The great storm passes and create a great havoc to our Region. Alot of landslide especially here in the Cordelliras. Many died because of it, houses covered up of earth and as of today they still retrieving bodies.
We thank the Lord for His protection on the lives of our members.

Dear Bro Huggins,
By God’s amazing Grace as I mentioned lately that Baguio is now recovering from the typhoon.
We thank you for your continuing prayers on us. Roads that are coming from Manila is being opened except Kennon Road which you had passed before is still closed. The Road going up to Bontoc is partly opened just for small vehicles.
Cleaning operation is going on and some parts of the City has no power, signal and internet.
I am just using my cp to communicate that I can carry where there is signal.
Well, the City is picking up, prices of commodities is going up. What I can say is the people are already used to these kind of calamities for often times we are hit of several typhoons and also earthquakes.
The church is fine, no body hurts, only some few damages on their roof. And they had fixed it already.
Again thank you and if there is I can do for the Mission kindly just tell it so.

Truly yours,
Ptr. Vergara
