Many think of the Christian life as a road to
heaven, but fail to reckon with the opposition they
must encounter and overcome on that road.
Christian warfare must be engaged in by every child
of God, but not without the armour provided by God
Himself for the battle. This armour has now proved
sufficient for the saints of God for nearly two
thousand years of the church’s history, and will not
fail them until Christ comes again to end all their
warfare. Reader, take heart, “For yet a little while,
and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.”
(Heb. 10:37).
