Pastors Joe Jacowitz, Austin Huggins, and Tom Smith, will leave for Lagos, Nigeria, on Monday, October 24, 2023, for a one-week missions’ trip. Today, there’s a growing restlessness and anxiety all over the world, especially in Nigeria. The last forty years of false promises of health and wealth by the false prophets in Nigeria, have left people disillusioned and longing for truth.
FirstLove Missions will participate in a four-day bible conference with the theme of “Communion with God.” Upwards of 1,500 people have registered for the conference and are traveling from all over Nigeria to attend. Our attendance at last year’s conference was 400 people. There seems to be a rapidly growing hunger for truth since just last year. We will hold a special seminar for pastors on the first day and distribute a “pastors pack of books.” We will give 5,000 books to the attendees free of charge. We will also be preaching at several churches in Lagos. A one hour, live radio broadcast for three consecutive days will be held in conjunction with the conference. In this broadcast listeners will be invited to call in with their questions which will be answered from the bible.
The saints at our host church, Sovereign Grace Bible Church of Lagos, have been working hard to prepare for the conference. Thousands of tracts and booklets will also be distributed. You can help in the following ways: Please pray for:
