The Path of Life
Christ’s Sermon on the Mount
By Robert Jones
Every verse of Christ’s sermon in these chapters “is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Tim. 3:16, 17). Beginning with the Beatitudes (Matt. 5:3-12), the blessed man’s portrait is drawn, with the happy rewards that are promised to the holy man.
