DESCRIPTION:Save the date. \nYou are invited to join us for our FREE 4th Annual FirstLove Bible Conference on the Gulf Coast in Pensacola\, Florida. This year’s theme is on “The Death of The Saints.” We hope to address sober and serious doctrinal issues related to the nature and origin of death\, the substitutionary nature of the death of Christ\, the manner and varied aspects in which death touches lives of the saints\, and the framework with which saints look at and consider death in light of the resurrection. In Christ Jesus\, death is now a defeated foe\, and yet still\, it is appointed unto all men once to die and then comes the judgement… \nOn February 26th through the 28th\, The FirstLove team will work to answer and explain the different aspects of this tension both theologically and practically in the lives of Christians. \nBreakout sessions will deal with counseling issues\, apologetic related topics\, and the eternal state of believers and unbelievers alike. His death on the cross involved so much more than just nailing Him to the cross. Jesus was arrested\, tried by the Jewish Sanhedrin and then by the Roman prefect Pontius Pilate\, and ultimately condemned to death by crucifixion. He was brutally scourged\, forced to carry his cross to Golgotha\, and then nailed to the cross. He hung on the cross for hours\, suffering immense pain and indignity\, before ultimately dying. DESCRIPTION:2025 Annual FirstLove Bible Conference\n\n\n\n\n“Recovering The Identity of The Church”\n  \n\n\n\n\n\nConference Description: \nAll around the globe\, at this very hour\, there are groups and clusters of men and women\, professing faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. They are gathering together\, some openly and publicly\, some secretly and under threat of hostility. Some gather in large congregations while others gather in small living rooms or even more obscure locations. Step into the fellowship of these otherworldly pilgrims\, and there you will find the ancient scriptures being read\, taught\, and communicated between them. This is happening daily throughout the word in more languages than any one person could hope to learn in a life time. His redeemed people are breaking bread\, and observing the cup in His remembrance. They are pouring over his instructions\, following his marching orders\, and awaiting His promised return. It is these unique people\, gathered together in mutual love of Christ\, and for one another\, that Our Lord has set like a light in a dark place\, a preserving salt sprinkled throughout a dying world. \nIn the midst of so global and precious a light as this\, there is an unsleeping and ancient enemy of the church lurking in the shadows\, like a roaring lion that is stalking its prey and seeking whom it may devour. Meanwhile\, Christ Jesus\, The Lord of The Church\, cautions His disciples and little lambs that deceptions will come; and thus to be sober\, watchful\, and discerning. Today\, in these days of radical misinformation\, internet propagated heresy machines\, and slick businessmen masquerading as trusted church leaders\, the questions we face as we consider the insidious nature of the culture in which we live is: have we lost our identity as the church in our land?
